Whatever happened to Sally Reese? And Jigger as a puppy.

Sally Reese was around for a few years, 4th grade or so until 6th grade, Glen School class of ‘69.  Sally, where are you?  You were smart and mean.  We figure you became either a CEO of a major fortune 100 company or a drug addict.  You never did anything lightly :)   And you had the best grades of anyone.

Welcome Jigger!  Spring of ‘69!!!  Jigger lived to be about 16.  A real member of the family.

Was it allowed?  Sally, Robin, Karey and Robbie up to Maine with Mr. Silvers.  They skied and snowmobiled.  Wow!

More ball playing on Roslyn Road and that was the best pogo stick ever!!!  Wouldn’t we just pogo stick for the afternoon?

The Dalys up to Maine – and many other Roslyn Road Runners

More Maine, and after a few minutes you’ll see the Dalys!  The Silvers have a new float, and the “boys” help launch it.

Bocce, bloomers, and a father-son baseball game at Glen field

We used to play bocce at the Eges, and I think the blonde girl is Julie Gray?  Does anyone remember that name? Margaret shows off what?  what were those clothes called?  Bloomers?

There was more than one father-son baseball game, and I can’t believe all the cheering spectators.  In another post, the score is given (I think).  Who won?

Another “first day of school” presentation.

Reed and Robbie had set up a high jump / pole vaulting set up in our back yard.  I have memories of just going out and high jumping.  Not high, but at least trying. I was scared of the pole vault – this huge bamboo tree-like stick.  But Reed and Robbie got pretty good at it.  Meanwhile, as you can see, Hanko-Hanko did not  (sorry Hanko)

the middle and  younger set, meanwhile, was doing slow motion gymnastics and freeze tag.  Also, terrific vintage photos of  Tina and Peter at the Central Park Zoo.  While there, they view a parade, check it out!  Amercan Friends of Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations!  Whoa….I see Ukraine, Estonia, Bulgaria.  what other countries and regions?

Then, that ol’ suburban pastime – running through the sprinkler.  But, Lis, what’s with the box?  And more whiffle ball, more running bases.  Is that Gregory Schloman  (spelling?)
